The 10K+ figure describes websites optimized over the career. It does not mean every site was a Local SEO project.
DEFINITION
Local SEO is the practice of improving a business's visibility when people search for products, services, businesses or information connected to a specific geographic area.
Realistic examples include “SEO expert in Noida”, “SEO expert in Delhi”, “SEO consultant near me”, and “jewelry store in Bareilly”. General search intent asks what something is. Local search intent asks where it is, who is nearby, or which place the result belongs to. Putting a city name on a page does not, by itself, create local relevance.
In how I work, Technical SEO is the website foundation. Local SEO is geographic visibility. AEO is clear answers. GEO is entities and context in generative search. AI SEO is the broader modern search view. That is my framing, not an official industry hierarchy.
APPROACH
A working sequence. It is not a product pitch or a ranking package.
I start with what the business actually does and which places it truly serves. Then I look at how people search in those places. Website changes come before directory volume. Local signals — profile, NAP, reviews — only help if they match the site. Measurement looks at whether the right pages are findable, not at promised map-pack slots.
INTENT
The place is part of the need: a city, area, or neighbourhood is named.
The user expects results based on where they are, not a city stuffed into a title.
The offer and the geography both matter. Either one alone is incomplete.
Someone is looking for a known name in a place, or checking whether that name exists there.
Where, which areas, who, and what is available locally — often conversational.
Queries such as “AI SEO expert in Noida”, “SEO expert in Delhi”, and “SEO consultant near me” look similar in keywords and different in intent. The first two name a city. The third depends on the searcher’s location. Intent is more important than inserting location keywords.
GBP
Google Business Profile optimization does not guarantee Google Maps rankings. Relevance, distance, and prominence are among factors associated with local search results. That is not a simplistic ranking formula.
MAPS
Map-based search still depends on whether the listing is relevant to the query, how far it is from the searcher, how prominent the business appears in the wider web, and whether name, hours, reviews, and local context are trustworthy. Rankings are not guaranteed. #1 Google Maps ranking is not a promise.
RESEARCH
Patterns include service + city, service + area, product + city, product + neighbourhood, “near me”, local questions, and brand + location. I do not recommend a page for every possible variation. Genuine search intent comes first.
PAGES
A useful location page has genuine location relevance, local context, relevant expertise, local search intent, nearby areas where they are useful, unique information, internal links, and honest professional or entity facts. Replacing only the city name on identical pages is not Local SEO. Thin, duplicate, or doorway-style location pages should be avoided.
This site’s location architecture includes India, Uttar Pradesh, Noida, Greater Noida West, Bareilly, and Delhi.
GEOGRAPHY
A nested example is Noida → sectors → Greater Noida → Greater Noida West. Dedicated pages should exist only when they provide genuine, useful, and sufficiently unique information. Mass-producing area pages is not the goal.
ON-SITE
Titles, descriptions, headings, location context, contact information, internal linking, location pages, service-area information, mobile usability, and technical SEO all help when they describe real facts. City names should not be stuffed into every element.
NAP
NAP means Name, Address, Phone. Those details should stay consistent across the website, Google Business Profile, relevant directories, social profiles, and industry listings that actually represent the business. Submitting to hundreds of directories is not the method.
CITATIONS
Citations are mentions of business information on other sites. Consistency, relevant directories, industry listings, and local publications matter more than mass citation building.
REPUTATION
Genuine customer reviews, quality, volume, recency, and how a business responds all sit inside local reputation. Fake reviews, purchased reviews, review manipulation, and incentivized reviews where they are prohibited should not be used.
LINKS
Useful opportunities can include local publications, industry organizations, local businesses, community groups, events, partnerships, and relevant directories. Focus on genuine relevance. Buying links or mass link building is not the approach.
SCHEMA
LocalBusiness, Organization, Person where relevant, Breadcrumb, and Product where relevant should only be used when they accurately describe the page. Structured data can help search engines understand information, but it does not guarantee rankings or rich results.
TECHNICAL
Crawlability, indexability, location page architecture, internal linking, canonicalization, XML sitemap, robots.txt, mobile performance, page performance, and structured data still apply. The dedicated Technical SEO page covers that foundation in more depth.
AI SEARCH
Local discovery is increasingly conversational. People ask “Who is an AI SEO expert in Noida?”, “Which SEO expert works in Delhi?”, or “What SEO expertise is available in Bareilly?” Entity clarity, location context, professional information, local relevance, website content, search intent, AEO, and GEO all help those questions be answered honestly.
Local SEO does not guarantee inclusion in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or Google AI Overviews.
AEO
Local sites should answer questions directly: where are you located, which areas do you serve, what do you specialize in, who do you work with, and why is the expertise relevant to this place? The AEO page explains answer-first structure without treating Local SEO as a list of FAQs for keywords.
GEO
Geographic search visibility.
Clear answers to local questions.
Context and entity understanding within generative search.
More on generative search sits on the GEO page.
SCALE
Sites with multiple offices, stores, cities, or service areas need location architecture, unique location pages, internal linking, accurate business information, and local relevance. Hundreds of near-identical location pages create doorway-style risk. I do not recommend that pattern.
IDENTITY
Name, expertise, location, experience, about page, contact information, location pages, professional profiles, and consistent entity facts should agree. On this site that chain is Krishan Dev → AI SEO → Noida → Uttar Pradesh → India. Consistent facts help understanding. They do not automatically produce rankings. The about page holds the career record.
INDUSTRIES
Examples of local questions only. These are not case studies and they are not ranking results.
Queries such as “engagement rings in Noida” mix product and place. The page still has to be useful, not a city swap.
“Management college in Bareilly” is a local question. Thin campus clones for every town are not the answer.
“SEO expert in Delhi” is a person-plus-place query. Identity and location should match the facts.
Some stores have pickup, showrooms, or delivery areas. Local SEO is about those realities, not a city in every title.
People search by neighbourhood and “near me”. Information should stay general and accurate — not medical advice.
Service areas and cities served should match what the business actually covers.
A software or SEO professional may be based in one city and work for other markets. Those are different facts.
Ports, yards, and survey locations can be geographic. Pages should describe real coverage.
Hours, address, and map presence matter when the customer will physically arrive.
Offices and service cities still need unique context. Duplicate city pages do not.
ARCHITECTURE
This diagram represents this website’s content architecture. It is not a recommendation to create a page for every geographic term.

AUDIT
An audit identifies opportunities and issues. It does not guarantee rankings.
PROCESS
Understand the business, audience, and locations that are actually served.
Study local search intent and the queries people use — not every possible city string.
Review the website, business profile, and local signals. An audit finds issues; it does not guarantee rankings.
Improve website copy, structure, and local information so they match real facts.
Strengthen useful local context and genuine relationships. Not mass directory spam.
Architecture, internal linking, and technical access so location URLs can be crawled and understood.
Track relevant search and website signals over time. Map pack position is not sold.
Continue refining as locations, hours, and pages change.

FAQ
Short answers about local search, Google Business Profile, location pages, and the professional background behind this work.
Local SEO is improving visibility when people search for products, services, businesses, or information connected to a geographic area. Adding a city name is not enough on its own.
It combines website content, location architecture, business information, and local signals such as a Google Business Profile. Relevance, distance, and prominence are among factors associated with local results. There is no simple ranking formula sold on this page.
It is keeping name, category, description, hours, website, location or service area, photos, and related details accurate. It does not guarantee Google Maps rankings.
It is work that supports visibility in map-based local results: relevance, distance, prominence, accurate information, reviews, and local context. #1 map pack placement is not promised.
It is when the searcher cares about place: a city, an area, “near me”, or a local question. Intent matters more than inserting location keywords.
Mentions of a business’s name, address, and phone (and related details) on other sites. Quality and consistency matter more than submitting to hundreds of directories.
NAP means Name, Address, Phone. Those details should match across the website, Google Business Profile, and other relevant listings.
Genuine reviews, recency, and how a business responds can form part of a local presence. Fake, purchased, or prohibited incentivized reviews should not be used.
A page that explains a genuine connection to a place: local context, what is offered there, and unique useful information. It should not be a copy of another city with one word changed.
Create them when there is enough unique, useful information. Avoid thin, duplicate, or doorway-style pages for every keyword variation.
It is how sites with several offices, stores, cities, or service areas organise unique location pages, internal links, and business information without cloning the same template hundreds of times.
Clear location, entity, and professional facts can make local answers easier to interpret. Inclusion in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or Google AI Overviews is not guaranteed.
Local SEO is geographic search visibility. GEO is about content, entities, and context in generative search. They can overlap. They are not the same job.
No. Maps and local pack placement are not sold or guaranteed.
